Fabrizio Van Marciano, born 28th December 1976 on the small island of Mauritius. Fabrizio's love for the ocean has led him to paint seascapes in the popular style that so many of us has come to know. Having lived by the ocean all his life, and never deems to rest upon gazing out into the rugged surf before finding the inspiration to create something dazzling on the canvas.

He began painting in his early teens, to pass long summer holidays off school. He finally decided to take his painting one step further in the fall of 2003, giving up his full time job as a salesman to concentrate on his art career. Working his hands with oils Fabrizio adapted to the wet on wet style blending colours accordingly. His much earlier works were large paintings of tropical sandy beaches, palm trees, distant island using mainly blue and white. These were his most popular at the time. After sometime Fabrizio eventually found his happy medium with the use of acrylics and water based colours mixed directly onto the canvas which now so many other artist are doing.

He launched his website www.vanmarcianoart.com in 2004 and four years later he has sold in excess of over 1,500 original

paintings worldwide from London to San Francisco. With collectors in New York, Paris, Glasgow, Toronto to name just a few

places.

Today Fabrizio is regarded as one of the UK's most expressive seascape artists with explosive colours that will bring any room

of any shade to life. Fabrizio is currently working on his latest collection of paintings which is due for release in June 2008,

as well as working on his new venture with Blue Fish Gallery, www.bluefish-gallery.mfbiz.com
